βββ β πAbout Meπ β ββ
Hey Hi Hello. I am the webmaster of this site. I go by Wuvly on most of my handles, but on here you may call me Endless or Blanc. My pronouns are he/him, though honestly you could use any pronouns you think fit me better. I am not picky about my own representation, and I do enjoy the different variations people have used for me. Being born in the late 1900s, makes me a millennial, and I'm proud of that, lower back pain and all. We truly did grow up during the best era of the internet, and I am so happy that its getting sort of a revival here. I'm late to the party, but thats always been the case. Trends tend to whiz past me constantly.
What I am and what I do are two seperate things. What I do so I don't starve in the streets is... well to be honest I'm a glorified vacuum cleaner. I make sure machines in a warehouse stay running as a "mechanic". More importantly though. What I do is art. I'm a creative at heart. I love to roleplay, write, and worldbuild. Despite just coming off a burnout that lasted... (lemme check my notes...jeezus), almost a decade. I'm gearing up to get back in the saddle, baby. This is a big creative restart for me. I'm picking up my pencil again, relearning how to do all the stuff I used to do as a kid.
βββ β πMy Interestsπ β ββ
Here are a few of my interest to get to know me a little more. This is far from everything I like. My memory is too poor to have a fully comprehensive list.
Audiobooks/Podcasts
I listen to a lot of books and podcasts while at work. I don't tend to listen to music as I prefer the yapping. I hop from genre to genre. My current fix is true crimes.

WebToons
Before I used to scour the web for webcomics. Overtime many of those sites got taken down or stopped updating. Webtoons has been consistent enough for me to enjoy the comics there

Manga
I pick up and drop so much manga it is absurd. I'll pick up and binge 100 chapters of one in a night before dropping it and never touching it again. A few though, I've stuck with and have really left an impression on me.

Anime
Compared to manga, I don't watch that much anime. The series I do pick up is mostly because the manga isn't available on the sites I visit. That or I'm really excited to see how it gets animated.

Cartoons
A foundational interest for me. I grew up during the era of Friday night and Saturday morning cartoons. They are what got me into art in the first place. There are far far more that I wanted to list.

Games
Now, I don't actually play that many games. I have an unreasonable amount of untouched games sitting in my Steam library. But what draws me to certain games are the worlds and stories presented in them.

βββ β πMy Internet Journeyπ β ββ
Let's see, where have I come from? Now, even though I grew up during the time of peak DeviantArt, Neopets, and MySpace. I never actually carved my own corner of the internet until now. Sure I had profiles on those things, I even made some friends on them, but making it my own just didn't appeal to me at the time. Far back in middle school I actually joined a website coding club. I learned the barest bones of HTML (got as far as making a pic of Link pan across the screen) Then I just wasted time playing flash games non-stop on whichever site wasn't blocked at the time. I did find ways to get on Newggrounds eventually. Continue on and on like that until the club got shut down for not being "educational" enough. Kinda think that was my fault? Then again, all the other kids were also playing those same games. During that age I would surf the web incessantly. A lurker through and through.
I picked up a few hobbies here and there over that time. Loved playing Warcraft 3 (Hero Line Wars ftw), got semi addicted to World of Warcraft because of that (thankfully my dad stopped the subscription before it was too late), and I read a metric ton of manga (way more than I can actually remember). The biggest out of all my hobbies I picked up was my love for TTRPGs. And whoa and behold, luck would have it when I entered High School there was an Anime Club (Japanese Culture Appreciation to the faculty) already established. I joined right away. And during my time there they made their own personal forum for their members. Me and my friends took that forum over from the jump. We started RPing non-stop, writing story after story, building world after world. It got to the point the club president went and shut that forum down. We just made our own and continued on like nothing happened. I do believe that was the best era of my RP life. Like catching lighting in a bottle.
Sadly, the good times couldn't last. The posts slowed and friends drifted apart. My League of Legends addiction started as well as college. I still RP'd of course, hell I'd go as far as say Play by Post is my preferred method to play any sort of rpg. RPOL.net was my main haunt back in the day and used to be my homepage at one point. Games don't last though and I would start way way more games than I would ever finish. And overall enthusiasm to play waned. I started drifting from fandom space to fandom space. Eventaully find some servers on Discord to make my current friends. At some point my web surfing had morphed into endless scrolling on Twitter, then Tumblr, then back to Twitter now X, then finally over to TikTok. And... I hated it. It's the dreaded doomscroll I wanna break away from. That force fed algorithm of mildly infuriating mildly entertaining slop. Which leads to why I'm making this site.
βββ β πAbout this Siteπ β ββ
Between my PbP RP dying out and my doomscrolling starting. I realized my creative drive also dried up and stagnated. I still made things, but not like how I used to. Didn't write as much, didn't draw as much. Spent way more time daydreaming what I could make instead of actually making it.
This brings me the point of this site. I enjoy Solo Journal RPGs, I enjoy creative writing, I enjoy building vasts worlds, but each project seems to only get as far as ideas in my head before momentum fizzles out. I've tried various journaling methods and note taking apps. Nothing really helped. Nothing filled that creative hole in my heart. Those things lacked an aspect that is very crucial to me. Comraderie, an audience so to speak. Like minded people to share and build with. This site is gonna be dedicated to hosting my writing, to share my inane ideas with others who might click with it. Yes I know there are other more well known sites out there, ones with bigger userbases, active fandoms etc etc, but I want this site to be mine. Wholly mine. Quirks and all. And, I just wanna make something cool. Learning how to code and gaining a new hobby is just a bonus to me. A neat puzzle to figure out while I also showcase my stuff.
So... yea... come read my strange writings. Puruse my journal that barely has structure. My short stories that are barely connected scenes. My solo rpg playthroughs. Just... welcome to my head.
Even if no one actually stumbles upon this stuff. I like the idea that it could reach others out there.
